We surveyed 300 players.
The numbers were brutal.
Before designing a single pad, we asked 300 professional and amateur football players what they actually thought about their current shin guards. The answers told us everything we needed to know.

● FOUNDER
Meet Žiga.
Žiga didn’t set out to start a shin pad company. He set out to stop wearing pads that flapped around in his sock, slid down by the 30th minute, and added weight that slowed him down on the pitch.
As an active pro, he had tried every brand on the market. None of them solved the basic problem: pads were either bulky and safe, or light and useless. There was no third option.
So he spent over a year researching advanced materials, testing different foams, experimenting with flexible designs, and developing new manufacturing methods — until every prototype was tested by real players and the result finally met the brief.
That product became Kickson.
● THE JOURNEY
From frustration
to category-defining.
300 players surveyed. 87% unhappy. The category was broken — and the data confirmed it. We started prototyping.
After a year of testing foams, materials, and grip systems, we landed on the formula: 4K Impact-Freeze Foam, Hyper-Lock, and Grip Pad Technology. Certified. 33 grams.
Word of mouth spreads through training pitches and locker rooms. Our shin guards cross 100 active players in its first year. Custom designs become the most-ordered product.
